Women's Soccer Edged by Allegheny
Oct.23-MEADVILLE, Pa.- The Hiram College women's soccer team fell 1-0 against Allegheny, Wednesday night.  
 
The two sides played to a stalemate through the first 59 minutes of play.     
 
The lone goal of the night was shot from Allegheny's Shannon McGuinn in the 60th minute. 
 
The Gators held an advantage in corner kicks (8-4) and had 20 shots, but Hiram's defense was up to the challenge only granting that one goal in the 90 minutes of play.   
 
In goal, senior Ally Green finished the night with seven saves. 
 
Five Terriers tallied a multi-shot game. Junior Hannah Ward, freshman Jaycee Ward, junior Courtney Wendel, sophomore Kaitlyn Harris, and senior Val Lauderback each finished the game with two shots.  
 
Hiram will be back in action on Saturday, October 26 to take on Kenyon at home. The senior day matchup is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. start.
