The Hiram College softball team dropped both games in the North Coast Athletic Conference doubleheader with Kenyon, Saturday afternoon.
The Terriers dropped game one 7-4, Hiram posted a run in four of the seven innings.
The first Hiram run came from Nikki Budner off a single from Leah Valdez in the top of the second inning.
The next Terrier run was off a single up the middle from Giselle Bahena to bring home Kaitlyn Hager to tie the game 2-2.
In the fourth and fifth inning, Hiram made their offensive strike posting a pair of runs to stretch their lead to 4-2. Mariah Sheffield and Bahena each collected a run in the scoring frames.
Kenyon would respond in the bottom of the sixth inning tallying five of their seven runs to secure the win.
In the circle, Bailey Scheck pitched six innings of work finishing the game with two strikeouts. The 2019 season marked as Scheck's career-best season, with her finishing fourth on Hiram's season strikeout list with a total of 88, she also tied seventh on Hiram's innings pitched list (130.1 innings) and wins in a season (9).
In the second game, Hiram dropped an 8-2 decision tallying 10 hits in the seven innings.
Bahena and Hager posted a run apiece for the Terriers in the fourth and fifth inning.
In the circle, Chase Martinez and Hager divided time totaling five strikeouts.
The doubleheader matchup closed out Hiram's regular season NCAC action, the Terriers finished 11-24-1 overall and 6-10 in the conference.
