Men's Soccer Ties Heidelberg 1-1 in Double Overtime Battle
Sept.18-TIFFIN, Ohio- Freshman Keagan Le'Roux scored the only Hiram goal as the men's soccer team tied Heidelberg 1-1 in their matchup, Wednesday night. 
The game tonight pushes Hiram's overall record to 3-2-2, while Heidelberg moves to 1-3-1.  
Despite the Terriers outshooting Heidelberg 4-2 in the first period. The Student Prince were the first to get on the board scoring in the 13th minute to take an early 1-0 lead.  
In the second, Hiram made their move with their lone goal from Le'Roux.  
Neither side was able to notch another goal in the second period sending the game to overtime.  
In the two extra frames, Hiram tallied three shots, one from Isaac Opoku and two from Tommy Rink.  
The Terriers outshot Heidelberg 16-11 with seven shots on goal and six corners.  
In goal, sophomore Shelby Edwards played the entire match, recording two saves. 
Hiram will return home on Saturday, September 21 when they host Westminster (Pa.). The battle with the Titans is scheduled for a 7:30 pm start.
