Nick Piotrowski

Nick Piotrowski joins new head baseball coach Phil Brua to help usher in a new era of Hiram College baseball. Piotrowski will serve as the graduate assistant for the program and enters his first year with the team.

Piotrowski comes to Hiram after earning his Bachelor of Sport Business from the University of Mount Union in 2017. During his time in Alliance, Ohio, Piotrowski played four seasons for the Purple Raiders under long time head coach Paul Hesse.

In four years as a player with Mount Union, Piotrowski helped the Purpler Raiders to three winning seasons, amassing a record of 95-55 and a 44-28 mark in Ohio Athletic Conference play. Piotrowski played in 41 of 42 games for the Raiders in 2017, hitting .269 and helping Mount Union to a 31-11 mark and a regular season OAC title.

Throughout his career, Nick played in 118 career games, amassing 126 hits, 16 doubles, four triples and 58 RBIs.

Following graduation in 2017, Piotrowski spent one season with the Play Ball Sports Academy in Green, Ohio. During that time he served as the head coach for the Akron A's 17-18U select team.

In his time with the Terriers, Piotrowski will also be enrolled in Hiram's Master of Arts program.
